TPi Awards 2018

The TPi Awards came to us for something a little different this year.

Creating bespoke awards means we’re making something new every day. This year, TPi weren’t looking for a traditional free-standing trophy, but a medal – and not just any medal. One that fully embraced the event logo and would hang round recipients necks like a giant gold chain.

Total Production International Magazine, the ‘industry’s most authoritative monthly business-to-business publication dedicated to the design and technology of live events’, has been running for twenty years. The awards were founded in 2002, and are the ‘industry’s leading annual awards event’. The event saw 27 categories to ‘reward the achievements of the most talented and successful individuals and companies working within the industry’.

The biggest award of the night went to John and Heather Penn, who took home Outstanding Contribution.

The medal is finished in brushed aluminium, and the details are printed. A striking and contemporary award, the branding is perfectly suited for this unique medal. To complete the piece, we’ve added a chunky gold chain. This award is an exciting combination of bright colours and standout design, making for an eye-catching, albeit unusual award.
