SME 300 Awards: Celebrating SME Success in Scotland

The prestigious Business Insider & Bank of Scotland SME 300 Awards took place earlier this month at the Glasgow Science Centre, hosted by the BBC’s Louise Minchin. The Awards celebrate the success of Scotland’s best performing small to medium sized companies with turnover between £8m and £20m. Now in their fourth year, and with a new sponsor, the awards were given a fresh new look by Gaudio.

Insider Editor Alasdair Northrop said: “We are delighted to be holding the SME300 awards once again. Scotland’s 300 best performing SMEs gave a sparkling performance despite the tough economic conditions with an impressive 13.9 per cent jump in profits on the back of a 2.7 per cent rise in turnover. It is important to mark the achievement of these companies and we hope as many of them as possible will attend the event which provides a chance for them to meet other executives who face similar challenges.”
