Last night (21st March) saw the return of the Lighting Design Awards for the 10th year at the prestigious London Hilton. The ceremony recognises the country’s leading lighting designers, manufacturers and architects. Comedian Rob Deering hosted the event with over 700 people gathered in the audience.
The big award of the night, Design Practice of the Decade, introduced to celebrate 10 years of the event, was presented to Speirs & Major. After the awards were presented it was on to the aftershow party. This year, in keeping with the event’s retro’ theme, guests raced against each other on a giant Scalextric!
The bespoke trophies were again designed by Gaudio, with a new look to reflect the new branding and 10th anniversary of the event. For more information about the event, and to see the full list of winners, visit the Lighting Design Awards website.
