Gaudio's 2020 Bespoke Award Highlights

While many events haven’t been able to celebrate in person this year, there’s still been plenty to cheer about. From virtual ceremonies, to at-home award deliveries, businesses are finding ways to reward accomplishments in a very trying year. Read on to see our bespoke trophy design award highlights of 2020.

At Gaudio, we’ve worked closely with a host of industries to bring these fantastic awards to life. This week, we’re sharing our top three highlights from Gaudio this year, including some of favourite awards, and a few of the ways we’ve supported businesses in the last 12 months.

Environmentally Conscious Manufacturing

Despite the challenges with the execution of events this year, we’re still committed to responsibly sourcing environmentally conscious options for manufacture and design.

These striking Coca Cola awards are made using machined wood, with a recycled acrylic window to show off real Coca-Cola bottlecaps. The ultimate in bespoke design, these trophies are undoubtedly a Gaudio highlight this year.

The Scottish Green Power Awards are another example of a fantastic eco-friendly set of awards. Wooden tablets are a staple for many custom trophies, and can be infinitely customised using print and additional materials.

Virtual Ceremony Support

Utilising new and existing services, lots of our customers have benefit from virtual award ceremony support from us this year.

The SoGlos virtual awards were held online in October, and they utilised their contemporary awards to take this ceremony to the next level. Featuring video content of winners receiving and holding trophies added a fantastic real-world element to an otherwise virtual-world event.

Gaudio also provided support and sponsorship to the Investors in People Awards. The trophies were delivered to individual winners with custom gift boxes, alongside printed promotional material.

The Teaching Awards were featured on the One Show this year, following last years’ redesign. These solid aluminium trophies celebrate teaching heroes across the UK, celebrating the passion and commitment shown across the entire sector. With a glossy, two-tone gold finish and engraving, each of these awards is personalised for each recipient. They’re a fantastic example of a design that showcases bespoke features at every turn, from the profiled shape to the custom engraving.
