FIA RallyCross Trophy goes to Kristoffersson
After a dramatic first lap, Johan Kristoffersson is victorious, taking home the first place FIA World Rallycross trophy. The rallycross trophy almost went to driver Marrias Ekstrom, who was instead disqualified after an incident with Sweden’s Petter Solburg.
The FIA World Rallycross Championship is now in its fourth year, and fans will see competitors from across the globe race for top prize. Despite the dramatic finale, the trophy was raised at the ceremony in Barcelona, concluding round one of the competition.

A cohesive and professional looking set, the iconic ‘X’ shape makes these awards instantly recognisable. The contemporary design, complete with cut out slats in the body of the ‘X’, is easy to hold or display.
A little update from @CatalunyaRX after Mattias’ disqualification for the Turn 1 incident with Petter, I’m now the proud owner of this trophy!
Of course not the best way to win it, but still very happy to leave Barcelona top of the Driver’s and Team’s Championship! pic.twitter.com/dl8DMcqPvf
