European Association Awards

European Association Awards
European Association Awards

The European Association Awards had a suitably spectacular award ceremony on Friday.

Held in Brussels, the afternoon ceremony saw titles awarded to 17 lucky recipients, recognising all areas of association excellence, from Best Training Excellence, to Overall Best European Association.

Last year saw the European Association Awards present a classic clear acrylic tablet. These awards were a set of uniform tablets, awarded to both winners and as a Mark of Excellence. This year, however, the growing EAA’s had more to celebrate than ever, and were looking for a set of acrylic tablets in gold, silver and bronze. These tablets had to be small and light, as many recipients would be travelling internationally to the ceremony.

The European Association Awards are provided by the Global Conference Network, a organisation that aims to bring together professionals and key suppliers from the conference industry, established to ‘provide quality information and events’.

The awards ‘recognise individuals, teams and initiatives and highlight excellence in how associations operate and serve their members’. The event was hosted by comedian and voice actor Andrew Maxwell, who has appeared on television, radio, and in live shows.

The Awards

The final pieces were a set of corresponding clear acrylic tablets with print.

The tablets were created in three different sizes. The European Association Awards logo was used not only for traditional printed branding, but to depict the gold, silver, and bronze accolades.

Printing on the back and the front makes a traditional acrylic tablet look exceptional, providing style and depth.

These awards are a fantastic example of how acrylic tablets can utilise print to commemorate excellence at every level.
