Construction News Specialists Awards

The Construction News Specialists Awards is the only British awards ceremony to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the very best specialist contractors in the UK. Gaudio has designed these awards for three years, and this year was excited to have the opportunity to give the award a slight redesign. The team behind the awards was open to something completely new, although still based around their logo while still being as grand and striking as in previous years.

More than 700 of the UK’s specialist contractors, influential companies and suppliers attended the awards ceremony, which took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel on 22nd March. Nineteen awards were handed out, covering categories including, ‘Building Services Specialist of the Year,’ ‘Business Innovation of the Year,’ and ‘Ground Engineering Specialist of the Year.’

The awards were 20mm thick, polished and printed aluminium with inset blue acrylic in the shape of the event logo. This was set on a polished aluminium base which was engraved with the winner’s details. The awards were an updated version of previous year’s awards but were still a perfect representation of the event logo.
