The Charity Awards are a staple of the seasons calendar, and a huge part of the charities landscape in the UK. They ‘identify, recognise and reward those organisations doing exceptional work in all areas of charitable activity’ across ten categories, judged by a panel of sector experts and leaders. Entries are assessed against the awards own Hallmarks of Excellence, and the winning organisations are presented with a custom award at the annual ceremony in London.

Gaudio designed and manufactured a set of awards to celebrate these exceptional charities doing remarkable work. Categories cover a diverse range of charitable activity, including Grantmaking and Funding, Education and Training, and Social Care, Advice, and Support.

Showcasing Exceptional Work

The Charity Awards demonstrate the best of bespoke trophy design manufacture, with each year showcasing an exciting new theme. Previous years’ trophies have featured bright and bold origami birds, the geometric glamour of roaring 20’s art deco, and the dreamy constellations of a starry night sky.

Designing these custom awards with the theme at the forefront of the creative process means the final awards correspond with décor, printed material, and social media graphics for the event. It offers a cohesive presentation of the brand, from invites to the ceremony, and beyond. The body of the award stays consistent year-on-year, with the tablet shape and logo remaining the same, and the design is incorporated around these core components.

Personalised Trophies With A Tropical Twist

The final design captures a tropical paradise on a contemporary acrylic tablet. Custom acrylic trophies are a versatile option, and the perfect canvas for dynamic print. For the Charity Awards, a collection of monstera leaves and ferns.

Choosing bespoke manufacture means personalisation is built into the design, and each award features the category and winners’ details for organisations and individuals. The Final Design

The final design puts the Charity Awards logo front and centre. Combined with the consistent shape, it makes the awards instantly recognisable when they leave the ceremony and make it home to businesses up and down the country. The crown shape is profiled in gold and layered on the front of the award. White print stands out against the rich gold tones and gives a fresh contrast against the greenery in the background. The background print is colour-matched on the back of the award, for an additional layered look. The date, category, winners’ name, and sponsor details are printed on every piece, for a truly custom trophy.
