From start to finish, these custom wooden trophies embrace every aspect of bespoke manufacture. Each award has an exceptional finish, with a design that embraces a traditional silhouette in a new style. Responsibly Sourced Wooden Trophies

The British Travel Awards are undoubtedly an institution of the travel industry. This years’ ceremony was no exception, with a glamorous evening hosted by television icon Alison Hammond. 2022 saw over half a million votes cast, celebrating companies and individuals across 12 categories. Recognising everything from tailor-made holidays to booking websites, the night gave everyone a reason to celebrate.

Gaudio have worked with the British Travel Awards for over 10 years, and their iconic custom trophy design is well-established. In previous years, solid aluminium has formed the silhouette of a traditional trophy, utilised as part of a modern, freestanding design.

This year, the British Travel Awards were looking to give their trophies an eco-friendly edge. The result is a custom wooden trophy, consistent with their historic design but instead crafted from high-quality beech wood. Each trophy is individually personalised with winners’ names, the date, and their winning category title. The classic laurel is colour-matched, encasing the British Travel Awards logo.

People loved the new look trophy – obviously the material makes it more environmentally friendly, and it was also much lighter, so for those companies who had to carry home a clutch of awards it was a bonus! It was great to be able to keep our unique design which we created with Gaudio more than ten years ago!
