The British Media Awards took place for the 6th year in a row on 3rd May 2017 at the Hilton Park Lane. Hosted by BBC TV journalist, newsreader and presenter, Fiona Bruce, the awards recognised excellence across all media businesses, including commercial & editorial, print and digital. Nineteen categories included, among others, ‘Print Product of the Year,’ ‘Video Project of the Year,’ ‘Technology Provider of the Year’ and ‘Editorial Campaign of the Year,’ with high profile media organisations, campaigns and personalities competing for the highly-desirable awards.
The most prestigious ‘Outstanding Contribution to British Media’ award was won by Tony Elliott, founder of Time Out Group for his lifetime commitment to bringing the most extensive local event and cultural information to the publication’s readership, which has now evolved to capitalise on digital and mobile technology covering cities throughout the globe.
Gaudio was excited to have the opportunity to produce the British Media Awards for the third year, as this is one of the highest-profile events for the British media industry. The awards were made up of an aluminium halo, inset with the circular event logo in printed acrylic, set on an aluminium base – a sleek, stylish design which perfectly represented the event logo.
