Gaudio's 2022 Round-Up

As the year comes to a close, we’ve gathered just a few of our favourite moments from 2022.

The Engagement Excellence Awards

The Engagement Excellence Awards were presented at a stunning ceremony at London’s Guildhall, and winners received a bespoke award. The event recognises businesses and leaders that make the workplace better and drive employee engagement.

Each award is a personalised keepsake with an exceptional finish; a fantastic example of how logos and elements of brand can be brought to life as part of a bespoke design. The profiled star shape, seen across the Engagement Excellence event, uses layering for a floating effect. Solid aluminium sits on hard-wearing acrylic, giving the logo a brushed gold finish. To complete this custom trophy, each one is engraved and printed with winners’ details.

The British Travel Awards

The British Travel Awards are a staple on the calendar, and this year an exciting new design element took centre stage. This years’ awards were crafted from responsibly sourced wood, embracing all the variations offered by natural materials.

The original silhouette was designed to resemble a traditional ‘cup’ style award, but upon closer inspection it’s actually a modern take on the classic, crafted as a single, freestanding piece. The British Travel Awards have stayed consistent with their awards over the years, no matter the material; whether solid aluminium or recycled acrylic, painted or printed. With such a well-established trophy, changing the core material can make a big impact on the look and feel of the award.

Responsibly-sourced wooden components are something our team love to utilise in designs both new and old. Showcasing beautiful natural features, these custom trophies display unique patterns in the wood grain and subtle variations in colour, without compromising on a consistently smooth texture and high-quality finish. With the same print, personalised for each winner, the British Travel Awards were able to stick with their well-loved design while exploring other eco-friendly options.

The Official Charts Fan Award

We’ve worked with the Official Charts for many years, and created bespoke awards for chart-topping albums and record-breaking artists.

This year, we collaborated with the Official Charts Company on their brand new Official Charts Shop, and created the Number 1 Fan Award. The Fan Award is a replica of the iconic Official Charts award, and exclusive to the new online store. The award is personalised online, so fans can celebrate the hits with their favourite artists!

These collectors pieces launched with boy band The Wanted, and expanded to celebrate Jack Savoretti’s Number 1 Album. The Official Charts also celebrated the 70th Anniversary of the singles chart, with a release of a limited edition Fan Award for music lovers worldwide.
