European Rally Championship Award

A 3D printed trophy created for the European Rally Championship.

The creation of this award highlights the flexibility of bespoke design and manufacture. Designed, modelled and printed in-house, these custom awards have personalisation at their core. The brief called for a trophy featuring a 3D tyre, to be presented to suppliers. The beauty of bespoke design and in-house manufacture meant the team could carefully model the award to match the required tread of a specific type of racing tyre.

3D printed components are lightweight and show fine detail. For the European Rally Championship Award, the tread block and grooves become more than just a visual element, but an exciting tactile feature. The top of the award has a black painted finish with a subtle gloss.

This 3D-printed award sits on a solid aluminium base. The base is tiered, and printed with the European Rally Championship logo. Logos and graphics are colour-matched.
