Last week, over 500 business leaders from some of the UK’s most prominent companies converged to celebrate the UK Customer Satisfaction Awards 2012. Organized by the Institute of Customer Service, this annual event, now in its second year, highlights and honors businesses that are setting the standard in customer service excellence.

The ceremony recognized outstanding performance across various sectors, demonstrating the significant impact that superior customer service has on business success. The finalists this year were impressive, collectively representing companies with a turnover exceeding £224 billion and employing over one million people.

  • LV= for outstanding overall customer service delivery.
  • BMW recognized for innovation in customer care.
  • BT awarded for excellence in technology-based customer interactions.
  • Homebase, celebrated for their commitment to continual improvement.
  • Aviva for exceptional insurance services.
  • Wendy Richardson, Director of Customer Care at Boots, who was specially recognized for her individual contributions to customer service.

Custom Awards by Gaudio

The trophies for the evening, custom-designed and manufactured by Gaudio Awards, signified the innovation and evolution in award design. This year’s awards featured new colours on the front of a machined aluminium cylinder, reflecting the modern and forward-thinking nature of the event. Each trophy was crafted to symbolize the excellence and dedication of the winners to outstanding customer service.
