Celebrities turn out to support inspirational women at the Tesco Mum of the Year 2012

A whole host of celebrities (and their mums!) arrived at the Waldorf Hilton in London on Sunday (12th March) to celebrate the 2012 Tesco Mum of the Year Awards.

Famous faces from TV, radio and music included Amy Childs, Pixie Lott, Jamelia, Heidi Range, Sinitta, Lee Ryan and Sara Cox. Guests were treated to live performances from XFactor contestant Mary Byrne, Grammy-award winner Estelle and Amy Winehouse’s goddaughter Dionne Bromfield.

Gabby Logan was presented with the Celebrity Mum of the Year Award, speaking from the red carpet,   she said: ‘I feel really humbled and really really proud. It’s great to be in the company of all the other amazing mums who are being honoured today.’

Olympic gold medallist Denise Lewis OBE, who was part of the award judging panel said: ‘I’m really excited to see all the mums congregated in one room today.’
