Not sure where to start?

Read out our frequently asked questions for information about our bespoke awards, artwork guidelines, and how we tailor our services.

We’ve got plenty of resources to help you get started.

The first step is putting together a brief. A brief tells us what you’re looking for in your award – this can include shape, size, colour or material. For help creating a brief, check out our brief template on the resources page, and take a look through our gallery pages and news stories to see what we’ve done before.

For information about budgeting, lead times, artwork and additional services, you’re in the right place. Our FAQ can give you an overview of the design and manufacturing process.

Because all of our awards are designed personally for our clients, each award is different, so therefore it is difficult for us to put prices on the website or give out prices over the phone. For this reason we offer a free design and quote service so that you can see exactly what you will be getting for your money. If you would like to take advantage of this service, please use our enquiry form.

Providing an accurate budget helps us give you the best possible design and quote. A budget allows us to tailor your design in every way. From the materials to the manufacturing processes, we strive to create spectacular bespoke awards suitable for every brief, every brand, and every budget.

Our lead times are approximately 4 weeks for most metal and acrylic awards, and 4-6 weeks for sculptured awards. If you are in need of something quicker we can usually help, but your options will be more limited!

Where possible, logos and artwork should be vectors (.pdf, .ai, .eps). This will ensure that your logos are printed or engraved in the best quality possible, and it allows our design team to alter and manipulate it.

All logos will have originally been created in a vector drawing package. A vector is a combination of lines, shapes, text and colours and can be assembled and disassembled, stretched, enlarged and shrunk without any loss of quality. This gives us much more freedom in the design process, and ensures that the final product is of the highest quality. If we only have a picture to work from (jpeg, tiff, bmp, png, psd etc) then the final product will suffer from the same pixilation that you see on screen. A vector logo will normally be available from your marketing or design department.

We are happy to supply prototypes for cost price to our clients, but please be aware that this will add another 3 weeks to the delivery of your order.

We send out very accurate artwork during the design phase to give you the best possible idea of what your finished award will look like. Before manufacture we provide PDF proofs of what each award will look like for you to sign off before any engraving or printing begins.

At Gaudio we believe in offering as much support to our clients as possible, including additional services beyond the award. We can help promote your ceremony through our social media channels (news pages, blog, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn), we can take regular pictures of the awards throughout production to keep your clients informed and to build up hype around the event. In addition, we offer a range of after sales services, including our reorder website to streamline the process of ordering replicas. For further information please contact our sales team.

We include all engraving and printing charges in our quotes, even if each award is personalised. At Gaudio we don’t believe in stinging you with extra charges, what you see is what you get.

Ordering in bulk is a great way to reduce your unit costs. We can keep your awards in our stores and personalise and dispatch each award to you as you require it, meaning you get the discount for bulk ordering and the flexibility to give out awards throughout the year.

We offer a fantastic range of sustainable and recycled trophies made from wood, slate, glass and plastic. If you would like an award outside of this range we can offset the carbon content for you, meaning you get the award you want without harming the environment.

We recommend WeTransfer – it’s free, doesn’t require registration and is very easy to use. Make sure to put our sales email address as the recipient: sales@gaudio.co.uk
